Structure of the Federation:
The Federation comprises of the President, General Secretary and a Federal Committee.
The Chief patron of the Federation is the President of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind.
The President of the Federation is elected by the Federal Committee.
The Zonal Advisory Councils (ZAC) of GIO states elect representatives from their states to the Federation to form the Federal Committee.
The President appoints the General Secretary.
The Vice Presidents and other Secretaries are appointed by the president as required.
All GIOs functioning at state level are member states of the Federation represented by their member in the Federal Committee.
